Alexandria is known as “the Pearl of the Mediterranean”, just two hours and half drive from Cairo, it has a lot of facets to explore, you can take a private vehicle with your guide from Cairo, yet we advise you to try the first class train to Alexandria passing through the rich villages of Delta, arriving there you will find your guide awaiting you at the last stop as Alexandria has two train stops. You will Start your tour right away visiting the Catacombs and the Pompey’s Pillar, The Roman Amphitheatre and The very special Greco-Roman Museum and the fabulous Jewelry Museum and the new Alexandria library “Bibliotheca Alexandria” which is a wonderful post- modernist architectural style having the largest reading space in the world and it is capable of holding eight million books! Leaving the fascinating Library you will end your tour at the wonderful Montazah Gardens with its fantastic beaches and park and the Royal Palace known as The Haramlik palace which is now a presidential residence and a guest house.

Early evening you will take the train back to Cairo.
