You will cross with your guide the bridge over the Nile to the West Bank with its astonishing landscape and sand dunes as well as its high mountain. You will discover the mysterious Valley of The Kings which is one of the most important and famous archaeological sites of the world. It is a necropolis of the Pharaonic Egypt’s New Kingdom dynasties. In 1979 it was made a World Heritage Site. One of its most famous Tombs is Tutankhamun’s tomb discovered by Howard Carter in 1922 with all its golden treasures displayed now at the Egyptian Museum.
You will pause at the beautiful Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari that has three floors with a walkway as its entrance. You will observe the statues that represent the queen showed her in a male form. She is one of the three females who have ruled Egypt.
